The human immune system is a complex and fascinating network of cells that work together to protect our bodies from harmful pathogens. However, what you may not know is that these cells also have a sense of humor! Here is a list of hilarious posts that immune cells would write if they had a LinkedIn account. From a dendritic cell seeking new T cell recruits to a neutrophil looking for new job opportunities, these posts showcase the funny and relatable side of these amazing cells.
It was also very fun to think about what job titles immune cells would have if they were on LinkedIn.
For example, a T cell could be a “Pathogen Eliminator” or a “Master of Immune Surveillance,” while a dendritic cell could be an “Immunological Liaison” or a “T Cell Stimulator.”
For the macrophage there are so many good ones like “Phagocytosis Specialist” or a “Pathogen Assassin.” At the end I chose to go with “Phagocytosis Pro and Cellular Cleanup Crew”.
These titles may seem humorous or fanciful, but they also highlight the important roles these cells play in protecting our bodies from harm.
For those new to this website let me introduce myself.
I’m Ana the creator of Cell Cartoons. This adventure started when I was in graduate school studying immune cells and I did some doodles of cells just for fun. This has evolved a lot since and now there is an online shop as well where I sell stickers, postcards and posters.
Thanks for stopping by!
