We recognise the importance of safeguarding your information AND personal data. This privacy policy will tell you how CellCartoons.net uses your personal data when you visit our website, interact with us on social media channels, and buy our goods and services. It also tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

This privacy policy was last updated on September 2020, and we reserve the right to modify this privacy policy and will post any changes on our site.

DATA COLLECTION

We collect a variety of information about our customers and visitors to the CellCartoons.net website including personal data and aggregated data. This personal data falls into these categories:

  • Identity Data includes title, first name, last name, username or similar identifier and an encrypted version of your login/password. If you interact with us through social media, this may include your social media username.
  • Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.

  • Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. We collect that information through Google Analytics to provide information about your device and browser, your location (based on your device’s IP address), and (if applicable) how you reached our website. We only use this information to analyze visitor metrics, and where our visitors come from. We do not store this information, but Google may. If you choose not to share personal data with us, or refuse certain contact permissions, we might not be able to provide the products and services you’ve asked for.

DATA USAGE & STORAGE

Data including your personal information is stored for as long as necessary to provide you with my services. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. 

DATA SHARING 

Information about my customers is important to my business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances. Where Cell Cartoons uses third party service providers, we may disclose to them your personal information to allow them to perform the services on our behalf.

  • Sharing your information with VistaPrint:
    VistaPrint is used as a third party printer to generate the final printed posters and ship them directly to the customers. Some personal data including shipping address will therefore be shared with VistaPrint. You can read more on VistaPrint’s privacy policy. .
  • Sharing your information with Stripe, and PayPal as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations.
  • Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if there is a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

YOUR COMMUNICATIONS

Any communications made through our ‘contact,’ blog, blog comments, newsletter sign up or other related pages, or directly to our phones or mailing or email addresses is not held privileged or confidential and is subject to viewing and distribution by third parties. We own any and all communications displayed on our website, servers, comments, emails or other media as allowed by United States law, and will not give credit or pay royalties for unsolicited user-generated content such as blog comments or emails.
